As of API 19 (KitKat), Android now lets you print a webview directly. Moreover, the same PrintManager API can be used to generate a PDF from a WebView without any external libraries.
As the example code shows, just get the PrintManager, create a PrintDocumentAdapter from the WebView in question, then create a new PrintJob and your user should see the option to save it to a file as PDF or print to a cloud printer. On newer Androids than 4.4 they'll also get a visual preview of what will be printed/PDF'd.
The scores you created with your old score editor are no more compatible with the new one?You own scores in PDF format, and you'd want to modify them with your favorite score editor?Until now, the only solution was either to input your score again completely, or to print them and to use an optical recognition software to convert them, with more or less success, into editable documents. This way of thinking now belongs to the past. From a document in PDF format (that you can generate from any software, even from discontinued products), PDFtoMusic Pro rebuilds the original score, and exports it for instance into MusicXML format, useable in most of the professional score editors. From a PDF file, PDFtoMusic Pro extracts in a few seconds the music-related elements, and enables to play the score, or to export it in miscellaneous formats, like MusicXML, MIDI, Myr (Harmony Assistant files), or in a digital audio format like WAV ou AIFF.With its Virtual Singer embedded module, PDFtoMusic Pro also sings the vocal parts!
1) I've Index.pdf (SECURED) 150 KB file that I can read and/or printwith no problem, but can't select or copy selection. The "Select Tool" and the "Snapshot Tool" are inactive.(ADOBE READER 9, version 9.4.1)2) By unlocking the file using Softonic PDF Unlocker 1.0.4 software, Iget the file Index_noPW.pdf .All the Tools are now available, but the file is empty.Unfortunately, the developer of the software doesn't reply toinquiries (probably out of business!).Can someone please advise on a possible remedy to try or help inanyway ??Thank you kindly.Monir
The security of the PDF was set to "content copying" not allowed" and thus you could not select and copy text from the PDF.I don't know anything about Softonic PDF Unlocker 1.0.4 software but it sounds like it really didn't help.-- DaveMulti-AV Scanning Tool -
James;I've downloaded and successfully installed the Simpo utility version1.1.0The output file ( 165. KB) is a bit larger than the input PDF file (150. KB).Opening the output file (still readable and printable) I get themessage:"An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the pagecorrectly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct theproblem."And almost all Adobe Reader X Edit::Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete, SelectAll, Copy File to Clipboard, etc. are greyed out!I've just sent an email to Simpo's developer seeking advice/help.Will keep you posted.Regards.Monir
Sorry that didn't work out of the box. So now I'm wondering if theoriginal pdf you have somehow became corrupted. Is it possible foryou to scan the printout and OCR it into Word? Another possibility is to try to open the file in another pdf softwarepackage.
Hi James; Thanks again for your reply and for your time.1) I've followed your latest advice:...a. tried Simpo utility with a different (but similar) PDF file.Same error message:...... "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display thepage correctly ..."...b. tried a different PDF Reader. Couldn't open any secured PDFfile with it!2) Here's a summary:(it also helps me to know where I'm at this point)...i. File ????.PDF (read-only, secured)...ii. with earlier Adobe Reader (perhaps v7.1 or earlier):...... could read the same file, Print, Select, Copy, Snapshot, etc.,till August 2010...... v7.0 according to Adobe web site is no longer available...... re-installed v7.1, but it "now" needs FileOpen.api, which Ibelieve is the culprit here...... since I'm pretty sure it was not required earlier by the sameAdobe version...iii. with Adobe Reader X (latest, my current):...... still can read and print the entire PDF file, but no longerSelect, Copy, Snapshot, etc....iv. using Softonic PDF Unlocker 1.0.4:...... a new file is automatically created: ????_noPW.PDF in the samefolder.......The newly created file is empty, but ALL Adobe features andTool options are now available.......Unfortunately, it appears that Softonic does not reply toinquiries regarding their products.......It is a freeware after all!....v. Simpo PDF Password Remover 1.1.0:...... produces a slightly larger PDF file by the same name but in adifferent folder.......Opening the output PDF file produces the error:......."An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display thepage correctly".......Ignoring the error, one could still read/print the entiredocument, but no Select, Copy, etc. is available (greyed-out)...... Contacted Simpo for advice. Just received a reply to send thema copy of the original PDF file to test...... Greatly appreciated...... Will shortly send a copy to Simpo....vi. Using another PDF reader:....... Nuance PDF Reader 6.0....... wouldn't open any secured PDF file....... blank Nuance PDF Reader window with: "Cannot open file "C:\.......\ ????.PDF"....... couldn't "Ask a Question" regarding the product....... because the Official utility I downloaded & installed fromNuance web site ( 25 min earlier) has "Expired"!!!!!!!....... Sent my inquiry to Nuance "Contact Sales", hoping they wouldkindly forward my question to their "Tech Team".Kind regards.Monir
It won't enable on my computer (Windows 7 Home Premium). I just upgraded to OO 4.0 and it works like a charm, but every time I try to get this add-on to run, PDF Import 1.0.4 it gives the error message:Loading component library failed:file:///C:/Users/[COMPUTER NAME]/AppData/Roaming/OpenOffice/4/user/uno_packages/cache/uno_packages/sv5zbeny.temp_/oracle-pdfimport.oxt/pdfimport.uno.dllAny suggestions? And please, use simple layman language and step by step directions. I don't speak tech. ;-)Thanks!
Hello,I installed this extension for OO on my iMac i5, running OSX 10.6.8, and at first everything seems to work perfect. But if I'm trying to import a PDF-File (with embedded fonts!) in a OO-Doc, the placed PDF looks completely different. The text lines are shifted, letters are expanded .... OO (... or the plugin) converts each text-line to a separate text-frame and changed it completely. Thats not only a problem of displaying on the screen, it looks also disorderd on the print ....
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, however one thing that's worked for me is that I installed CutePDF Writer (on Windows) and I reprinted the PDF from Acrobat Reader to the CutePDF Writer (which is set as a printer in the Print dialogue). This of course just re-creates the PDF using CutePDF Writer, but for whatever reason, this re-created PDF renders correctly in OO Draw, where the original PDF didn't. Using this method I've been able to edit PDFs just fine.
Users can use pre-defined checks or define custom checks with iLogic scripts to perform design checking. Executing the on-demand checking will update the design checker results, or enabling the live-checking will enable users to get the real-time feedback from the design checker during design process. The Design Checker Results Tree Browser allows users to interactively edit the objects with failed checks, and a Design Checker Results Report can show all the passed and failed check results, and allow users to export the report to excel, word or pdf, or print the report.
Note that the dynamically generated visualizations will look different due to the force-directed layout. A stable VOWL visualization can be shared by exporting it to SVG or printing it as a PDF file. Alternatively, the generated JSON file can be exported and linked or uploaded. If the JSON file has been exported using WebVOWL, the VOWL visualization will be restored with the layout and user settings it had before. Here is again an example for the FOAF vocabulary:
You have a sheet template where there is a drop down to make it a dynamic sheet. Now you want to print all the options to paper sheets for the drop down list. In another words, how to print a separate sheet for each drop down option? 041b061a72
