[S5E22] Made Of Honor ##TOP##

Happy Full House Friday Everyone,Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.Today in honor of Bob Saget's (Danny Tanner) Birthday (May 17), I decided to cover Full House S5E22: The Trouble With Danny, which aired on March 17, 1992.In this episode Danny's Mr. Clean attitude during the annual Spring Cleaning of '92 pushes everyone to their breaking point, Danny (he's in DJ's closet hanging shelf paper, it's the family's reward for working over four hours on cleaning the house, they all get new shelf paper in their closets)overhears the family's We're Tired of Danny's Mr. Clean Personality Support Group meeting in DJ's room, hashing out their dislikes of Danny's rules one of which is chewing each bite of food 24 times before swallowing (a bit much I think)and his constant ramblings and stories not to mention cleaning the logs in the fire place(who does this?), and lastly let's not forget his brainwashing of Michelle turning her into a mini Danny which the family agrees is the last thing they need.Danny is crestfallen after hearing this and heads to the mountains to do something thinking and reinvents himself. We can't forget Norman the donkey. What a sweetheart to put up with Danny becoming one with nature.Upon his arrival, the family has no idea what to make of this new dirty version of Danny, he smells like donkey and he's throwing his jacket on the floor, scattering potato chips everywhere and drinking milk straight outta the carton. The family admits they miss the old Danny which is enough for him drop his bad habits and embrace his true self. Also the twins Nicky and Alex learn to crawl, which was cute to watch since we'll miss out on them learning to walk and say their first words once Season 6 begins the boys are toddlers.I play clips from Season 2's Goodbye Mr. Bear and you can decide for yourself which Danny was the worst during Spring Cleaning. I say Season 2's episode, he was so angry with Jesse for messing up his kitchen.I had a fun time with this episode and hope you enjoy it too.Join me in June when I cover the Reunion Series, with Full House S3E23: Fraternity Reunion, which aired on April 27, 1990.In this episode A fraternity reunion has Danny and Joey dressed in drag. And in jail.Have a great weekend! To EMAIL The Podcast Go To:omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

[S5E22] Made of Honor

Izzie: You never know the biggest day of your life is the biggest day. Not until it's happening. You don't recognize the biggest day of your life, not until you're right in the middle of it. The day you commit to something or someone. The day you get your heart broken. The day you meet your soul mate. The day you realize there's not enough time, because you wanna live forever. Those are the biggest days. The perfect days. You know?Denny: I bet you ... you made a beautiful bride.Izzie: It was a beautiful day.Alex: You put the scarf on. I told you, you don't need it. You look gorgeous without it.Denny: He's right.Izzie: Go away now. Go away, I wanna be alone with my husband.Alex: (Takes off her scarf, and kisses her forehead) My wife is hot!(Izzie giggles and smiles)

Izzie: Oh Mer, I don't... I don't even know how to... I... thank you.Meredith: (tears up) Ok, so whose the maid of honor? Me or Cristina?Izzie: Cristina. Alex, he needs a best man... and he was asking for you.Meredith: (laughs, trying to hold back the tears) Haha.Cristina: Oh, so what? I'm leftovers?Izzie: You tried to save my life. That makes you honorable.

Richard: Meredith.Meredith: Yes Sir?Richard: I've been reading your mother's journals. I wish she was here today.Meredith: Well, I don't know how she would have felt about me getting married.Richard: No, not for that. For this. Your first solo surgery.Meredith: Oh, well she probably would have said with all the mistakes I've made I'm lucky the patients alive.Richard: That's right, but, I also know she would have been thrilled. She wouldn't have been able to tell you, but, she would have been.Meredith: Thank you Sir.

Cristina wakes up Callie, who was sleeping on the couch in the residents' lounge. Cristina has to be a happy maid of honor tonight to get Meredith down the aisle. She's tired, because she had to sleep at the hospital since Callie wanted the apartment to herself to get freaky with roller skate girl. Callie explains they went to dinner, but she wasn't in the mood and she had to be here early to run the ER, anyway. Callie leaves as Meredith comes in. Cristina says it's the biggest day of her life, but Meredith doesn't want the peppy maid of honor thing. It's the biggest day of Izzie's life. Meredith is excited for the marriage, not the wedding.

Cristina and Meredith are putting flowers in Izzie's hair and removing her IV. She's sitting in a wheelchair at the church and wearing the wedding dress. Izzie doesn't even know how to begin to thank Meredith. She thanks her. Meredith asks who the maid of honor is. Izzie says Cristina, because Alex needs a best man and he was asking for Meredith. Cristina is not leftovers, though, because she tried to save Izzie's life. That makes her honorable.

Izzie's voiceover mentions the day you met your soulmate as an example. Derek and Meredith have made a bed in front of the fireplace. She says it's the best non-wedding day ever. They're naked. He asks if she wants to go again. She laughs and kisses him.

Izzie says it's on that day that you realize you don't have enough time, as you want to live forever then. Those are the biggest, perfect days. It turns out she was talking to Denny, who bets she made a beautiful bride. She affirms it was a beautiful day. Alex comes in with a bottle of champagne and notices she put the scarf on. He told her she didn't need it as she looks gorgeous without it. Denny says he's right. Izzie tells him to go away as she wants to be alone with her husband. He disappears as Alex sits down on the bed. He takes the scarf off her head and kisses her on the forehead. He says his wife is hot. A bald Izzie laughs.

Howard shows up at Bernadette's apartment and asks Penny to give Bernadette his heartfelt and genuine apology, which reduces Penny to tears. Bernadette overhears this and forgives him. Amy is relieved that she is still a maid of honor and the four hug. Leonard later meets Penny in the laundry room and wants to have sex, but Penny declines.

Odo, Kira Nerys, and Jadzia Dax sit having breakfast in the mess hall of the USS Defiant. Lieutenant Commander Dax states that she can't wait to sleep in her own bed, remarking on the uncomfortable bunks on the Defiant. Major Kira says that she could use a visit to the Golian Spa. Dax comments that Kira and Shakaar should both go, to which Kira says that she and Shakaar aren't seeing each other anymore. Odo, who has had feelings for Kira for a long time, asks about the breakup. Kira says that she and Shakaar went to the Kenda Shrine on Bajor to ask the Prophets if they were meant to walk the same path. Upon hearing that the Prophets said no, Dax remarks that Kira makes it sound so cut and dried. Kira responds that people are either meant to be together or not. Dax states that any relationship can work if the partners really work at it. Odo, still contemplating the ramifications of the conversation, says that he has no opinion on the subject and hastily leaves. Kira wonders if he is all right and Dax reminds her that the subject of relationships has always made Odo uncomfortable. Odo stands outside the mess hall alone and absorbs what Kira just said.

Sisko, Dax, Worf, and O'Brien beam down into a cluster of adobe-like buildings, surrounded by farmland. Children who were playing a game with a ball stop and stare at the newcomers. The two people who made the hail introduce themselves as Miranda O'Brien and Yedrin Dax. Sisko asks for an explanation. Miranda tells them that the settlement was founded by the crew of a Starfleet vessel that crashed on the planet two centuries prior. She reveals that the ship that crashed was the USS Defiant. In two days, when Captain Sisko tries to leave orbit, Miranda says that they will be thrown back two hundred years into the past. The people they see now are the crew's descendants.

Three people are standing in the street, holding spears and wearing knives. Two of the Klingons appear Human, while the other only has faint forehead ridges. Brota greets Worf and states that they are the Sons of Mogh. They are Worf's descendants, some by blood and some by choice. They live as warriors. Gabriel then says that he wants to become a Son of Mogh, to which Parell says that when he is older, he can prove himself and take a Klingon name. Brota says that the Sons of Mogh are gathering to celebrate Worf's return. Worf honors them by saying he will feast with them when they return to fetch him for the evening celebration.

Later that night, Worf and Kira are sitting near a fire pit. They both do not like what is going to happen. Although the colonists are milling around, the mood is somber. Only the children seem unaffected. Kira comments that everyone is going to die because she has to get treated for something she can't even tell she has. Worf tells her not to blame herself and Kira moves off to return to the Defiant. Nearby, Miranda is tending some plantings and seedlings. Gabriel mentions that everyone is quiet and asks what is wrong. Miranda tells him it is nothing to worry about, not able to tell him the truth. As Gabriel leaves, the Klingons approach Worf and tell him that there will be no feast. Worf asks them to join him at the fire. He tells them of the honor to know that his legacy has thrived. Brota tells of a beast that he killed with Worf's own mek'leth. They then tell him that their ceasing to exist will not earn them a place in Sto-vo-kor. They all then unsheathe their daggers and ask Worf to kill them. Worf hesitates, but then tells them that he will do what they ask tomorrow. 041b061a72
